We stock and order road, mountain, hybrid, and children's bicycles by Trek, Cannondale, Raleigh, and Diamondback. We are also one of the original dealers for high performance titanium frames by Lynskey Performance Designs, owned and run by the family who started Litespeed™ in 1986.

We can put you on a bike that fits your lifestyle, whatever it may be. Our sales entrance (pictured above) is set back from Main Street, just west of Otter Creek and a short walk from Middlebury College. For more detailed directions and suggested parking, see location and hours.

March 6 Sales Tax Holiday

Saturday, March 6, you can purchase any item costing $2,000 or less, and you will not be charged the VT state sales tax of 6 percent, or the Middlebury local option sales tax of 1 percent.

You are not limited to a total of $2,000 in purchases. As long as each item retails for no more than $2,000, you can purchase multiple items for a total exceeding $2,000.

We expect a really brisk pace at some points during this one-day sale, with our regular winter/pre-season staff. Here are a few guidelines to help you get the most out of this opportunity:

If you plan to purchase a bike or other big-ticket item, it will pay to do your shopping before March 6. Get all your product questions answered, and then on March 6, pay for the item or items you want and pick them up if they are in stock, or special-order them if they are not in stock.

We will reserve in-stock items for purchase on tax holiday without a deposit.

Custom (non-standard model) bicycles may be purchased as three units. If each of these three units costs no more than $2000, each unit will qualify as a separate, tax-free purchase:
