  The
Cannondale CAAD9 is
the best aluminum racing frame ever made. It's the only aluminum frame
that is still raced on extensively. Go to your local USA Cycling
sanctioned road event, and you may see more CAAD9s than any model of
carbon frame. The CAAD9 has larger diameter
top, head, and down tubes than previous Cannondale designs. This increases the torsional
stiffness (and stability) of the front end of the frame. In '10, this
stiffness is enhanced with Cannondale's BB30 bottom bracket. Vertical compliance (comfort) is
