prices!
Landing Gear

Other than cranks, the greatest advances in component design have occurred with forks
and wheels. We encourage you to take advantage of these to their fullest when you build up your
Lynskey.
Wheels
Rolling weight has more effect on your ride than any other piece of your bike except your frame.
We already have several pages devoted to picking out
wheels:

Forks
At the beginning of the millennium, a fork that weighed less than 500 grams was considered light.
Now the benchmark is well under 400 grams, and advances in composite technology make
these light forks as strong as or stronger than their precursors.
So far, all of our Lynskey's have gone out with either Reynolds or Alpha Q forks.
The Alpha Q GS10 is the fork included in the regular price for with the HB120, HB220, HB320,
and HB420 House Blend road frames. Easton, Kestrel, Look, and Time are also good sources
for forks.
Headsets
To date, every Lynskey we've sold has gone out with a Chris King headset (and all but one
of them red, to match the Lynskey head tube badge). Customers who buy at this level
routinely ask for Chris King, but if you desire another brand, please ask.
