The Cannondale Synapse uses a taller head tube and a shorter top tube for a position that eases strain on the lower back. Comfort and efficient power transfer are enhanced by the frame's light weight.

The Synapse uses two frame technologies to achieve a plush ride:

	Triaxial Hourglass seat stays for damping road vibration and absorbing road shock.
	Cannondale's exclusive S.A.V.E technology (Synapse Vibration Elimination) in the chain-stays and fork provide a pinpoint balance of vibration- absorbing comfort and lateral stiffness. This chainstay concept has been used for years with Cannondale's full-suspension x-c mountain bike, the Scalpel.
