The Trek Pilot:  Road Bikes for the Rest of Us

Thanks to the Trek Pilot, we see more people out on the road than ever before.  One of them smiled and hollered, "I can't believe I've come out this far!  I love my Pilot!"

Look at the photographs above.  You can see the Trek Pilot uses a  longer head tube to put your handlebars at least 1.5" higher than a standard road bike design.  The Trek Pilot also decreases the extension (reach) from your saddle to your handlebars.  The Pilot accommodates folks who want performance, but not a racing position:
